4 Things to Minimize Debt in Credit Cards or Loans
1. Change your lifestyle
You must first look at how you do things, like thinking if you really need something. look at the pros and cons of having that item itself since maybe an impulse buy will put you in too much of a financial stress and you will agonize about it later. like if you really need to buy that Phone that you have been dreaming about, or like buying that applicance in the house that will help you. try to make a list on what it can do and how it will affect you later on. Think about it a lot. take 5 minutes or take even longer as sometimes these purchases are only once in a blue moon.
2. Compute the monthly installments
Compute always the price of the item as sometimes you can actually get a better deal in paying for it in full rather than paying for it in installments. as most people don't check. but the bank does charge a minimum of 3.5 percent per month on installment purchases. but promotions can make it as little as less than 1 percent per month. you always need to look at the better deal as credit card companies is almost robotic when it comes to collection of payments. if you look around enough you may find that you can actually get the item cheaper if you pay it in full or if you pay in cash, however larger store franchise have a set price already so dropping the price may not work all the time. take a look at instances where you need to pay in installments, check if the monthly payments are ok for you and you are ok with the burden of having a debt of a certain duration like 1 year.
3. Get a loan or Card if absolutely necessary
Check what the bank or credit card has to offer. as these usually have lower interest rates than getting cash and paying for it monthly because credit cards use usually 3.5% permonth add on interest on the total monthly purchase and any other purchases afterwards. you can actually get a cash loan or transfer remaning balances from one credit card to another, but again as noted above compute the actual total interest and if you really really only need it. most common interest for these are around 6%-30% per year and divided by a monthly installment amount like for example you need 500$ and offer you a monthly of 50$ a month so the interest for the whole year is almost 100$, check if you can actually earn the additional 100$ within the year. however if you don't pay the full monthly they will add another set of interest on the remaning amount that you left there and it will also add interest to the next months installment. it is compounded so it means everymonth all remaning and future bills are added before interest is given so it gets high very fast. that is why banks have a lot of repossed cars and houses as the interest compounded there is very very large.
4. Pay in full
This is the most important, always pay your credit card in full and before the due dates. for most credit cards 3.5% interest monthly adds up in 1 year. lets take an example. you owe 100$, but only paid 10$ a month so within 10 months you think you have paid for it all. no this is not the case. the total would already be almost around 130$. like the 1st month you only paid 10$ so we have a remaning 90$ in balance, so the next month it would 93.15$ if you need to pay in full. so on and so forth. the only time banks won't charge you for the interest is when the monthy balance is cleared. so as always pay your maximum payment as much as possible to avoid incurring these interest. Loans have even larger interest rates if you do not pay the monthly in full.

9 Things that may get you out of Depression
Depression - as most would say this is actually a sickness for the lonely person or the single person or the person who has given up on everything. It is hard to get away from this kind of sickness as this sickness is mostly for the person who thinks too much.
as a person who was depressed before and somehow made a semi recovery without the use of medical drugs and such. I know this may not seem much but if it can help a few people then please see if this helps you in avoiding this kind of situation, It may not cure it but at least it can give you a less depressing thing to think about.
1. don't misuse your savings or the remaining cash you have left.
usually some people splurge when they have money and try to be materialistic in looking for a way out of depression. I'm also guilty of the same reason. buying things and spending gives you a psuedo like relief that makes you want to spend. but this is not good if it happens for a long while. avoid this whatever you have left try to rationalize your remaining money. it will help in the long run.
2. ask for help.
for most people depression is an act of isolation and the ability to think that you can solve it on your own. it gets rather hard in the long run. you really need to talk to people who you know can help you. be it a doctor or anyone, just talk to anyone and try to ask for help. people are not mind readers and they won't be able to help if you don't tell anyone about it. remove your embarrassment or pride, these are the times that you need help.
3. Look for people who understand and not just anyone.
once you get help. filter those people that can understand you and are closest to you. you don't want help from people who are superficial as they are the one's that are people that don't understand you. because you need people that can support you. mainly ask your family and true friends for help.
4. Don't eat your usual comfort food.
avoid the usual comfort food that you usually eat. be more adventurous, as eating the usual stuff that comforts you actually makes your mind more dull. maybe it will help you see more things that are out of your usual zone.
5. do simple things.
this is considered hard for people who have already this problem. if you cannot make a list of things to do. try to do things you first need to do or ask for help in doing these things. you need momentum to do a certain thing. if you stop it won't help as it would seem like nothing matters.
6. Watch the movies or shows that you want to watch before, but avoid the ones that have serious tones.
avoid serious toned movies, why because you don't need more drama in your life as depression is already a form of drama that you are already having a hard time dealing. go for comedies or shows that indulge the mind (something interesting documentaries, how things are made, etc etc educational shows, shows that provide learning) you never know but something may peak your interest.
7. go to a place that you before have considered a place of rest or that may excite you (just not the bed).
avoid home at the moment. you need someplace that can spark your interest or places that may make you feel excited again in life. the bed is not the way to go. you really need to move out of that comfort zone. it may be hard but as a thinking species, you need to get a motor in yourself running and staying in bed is not the way to go. and the
8. Think Less of anything.
think only of what you want to do, avoid things that say what will the others say or what will my blah blah say. this is a time for yourself, this is hard as it is not an easy thing to do. as thoughts of a lot of things will fill up your head and won't be able to think about things that you may want for yourself.
9. Forgive yourself.
lastly. this is a must. asking for forgiveness of others is not the same as as forgiving yourself. if you burden yourself too much with this it will get harder and harder.
making a point in this is article is not about making a point but giving other people who may have the same idea but are not able to do and for those that are just looking for new ideas on how they can avoid depression.
